The ladies are beginning to be my regular baking partners. Couldn't be happier ... to me, baking with friends are fun ... we really call this a bonding session
SY and her mighty strength !!! She was able to scrub clean my muffin pan ! This muffin pan is not a non-stick type and I have left in the sink for the stubborn baking stains to be soaked but to no avail. (previously the baked tarts were stuck firmly on the pan) SY just scrubbed the very hard and they were spotless. Clap clap ... anyhow, I am retaining this muffin pan for other uses but have bought 2 small non-stick muffin pans for baking purpose.
Jy would like to bake Sticky Date pudding . she was boiling the pitted dates ...
Jo wanted to bake cheesecake .... and SY wanted to bake a chocolate cake ...
The sticky date pudding were ready ... got to poke deep holes into the pudding and cover each pudding with the butterscotch syrup.
The chocolate cake was kind of unplanned baking. Unfortunately, I did not have a good recipe for it and it did not turned out to be nice.
JY was quite pleased with her sticky date pudding ..
We added about 15gof cornflour into the mixture (tks to PS for the tips) and the cheesecake turned out to be fantastic ... no cracking! We also added half a lemon juice t it and it tasted heavenly !
No doubt the chocolate cake was a huge disappointment but we will try to find a recipe which will do justice to what a moist chocolate should taste like.
