Sentosa Malaysian Food Street

We brought dad and mum to Sentosa for dinner. This rather newly opened Malaysian Food Street seems to have grab media attention and it seems like a must to visit the place at least once. We drove into Sentosa, Resort World about 7pm which cost us $8.00 for the parking fees. Anyhow, it was quite convenient as we managed to park just below the USS. The Malaysian Food Street is just next to the USS ... no problem finding this place at all.

Fret not ... the Malaysian Food Street is fully air-conditioned ! No worries about sweating over while eating your food.

Finally, got this round table tucked at the back... I bought mum a bowl of KL Wanton noodles. ($4 a bowl) It tasted pretty nice especially the Char Chiew.

CK was told that the claypot rice would take 45 minutes to be ready .. he dropped out of the queue immediately ... the claypot looks nice though .. nevermind, will try if we ever come into Sentosa again.

Dad bought this rather highly-priced Bak Kut Teh from Klang. He was most dissatisfied with his choice ! (as noted from his expression here) We kinda agreed with him that for such a small serving ($8 a bowl) with a few chopped up pork ribs, it was too expensive. I guessed he was not very used to the taste too.
I have read about this Malacca famous chicken rice balls in travel magazines, now finally able to try it at WSS !
This dish is more worth-while ... $15 for the plate of chicken. (half a chicken) The chicken was served cold but the meat was well-marinated, tender and delicious. The rice ball cost $0.30 each. Hmm.. dad was more agreeable with this dish.

I love the meat with yam .. crispy and fragrant !
