Our long-awaited holidays in Australia!
We took Scoot which is really comfortable for a budget airline. So glad that Scoot has opened up their routes to some of our favourite destinations like Tokyo and Taiwan!
We took the Airport shuttle which cost about A$32.00 per person for a return trip. The bus will bring you straight to your hotel. We chose to stay in Meriton Service Apartment in Sydney's
CBD area on Campbell Street.

We were immensely impressed that the apartment provides everything from a dish-washing machine, washing machine, microwave, utensils etc!
We were famished after checking into our apartment that we just settled our lunch at the restaurant next to the Meriton! It was a Thai restaurant with relatively tasty dishes. In Australia, a sit-down meal is expensive but they ensure that the ingredients provided are substantial.
Paddy's market and Chinatown are just a stone's throw away from where we stayed! How bless! I was so happy to find some unique necklaces that I instantly fell in love with ! And Chinatown simply reminded us so much of our very own Bugis Street!
As we walked towards Darling Harbour, we passed by "Darling Quarter Kids Playground" for kids and even "big" kid like CK!
Darling Harbour was bustling with life with the fury dance & music performance by a group of the macho guys and sexy ladies! The crowd was given a free treat by the charismatic dancers!

A few photos of this lovely harbour! Like all big cities, the harbour displays vibrancy and a sense of economical achievement. As you stood along the seemingly endless path that stretches along the harbour, you couldn't but think of how well this place was constructed to impress tourists!

As we strolled along the harbour from late noon, till dusk to nightfall
... the transformation of natural colours from the sunset and artificial
colours from the buildings reflected on the harbour waters were
breath-taking!
We have dinner at Olivo by the harbour side to enjoy this amazing view!
I found it was a pity not to mention the food we have eaten during a trip. This dinner @Olivo by Darling Harbour was lovingly presented to diners not to just boost the culinary skills of the chef but a feast for the eyes. Finally, CK has fulfilled his wish to eat some fresh oysters too. CK's philiosophy of travel is to eat good food! Shopping is out of his wishlist!
Anyhow, I have curious stares from a neighbouring table as I snapped our food ... definitely not a popular culture for them to take photos of their food.
