Our first itinerary was to visit my parents. We have to start early so that we can reach CK's mum house by 10:30am. Mum prepared this delicious fried item for us. (not sure how to address this dish)

We stayed for less than an hour before heading to Ah Mi's house. We helped out with the cooking, ate fried bee hoon and headed off to Ah Gu's house without Jojo this time.
Ah Gu's house is the "headquarters" for relatives even for Lunar New Year. Managed to meet up with some cousins and their kids. There was no steamboat this year as Ah Gu would like to do something different.We left Ah Gu's house for home to pick up Jojo for eldest brother's house for dinner. Jojo was delighted that he could go "gai gai" again.

Kind of a gender confusion here but Jojo looked so "pretty" with this dress and the purple ribbon ! Hee, they couldn't resist to take photos with him.Anyway, eldest brother cooked all the dishes except the curry chicken which was cooked by his domestic helper. He was a good cook even though he does not cook frequently.
The first day of CNY passed by so quickly. It was exhausting yet happy.
