Any resolutions for the New Year ?
There were nothing much to grumble or unhappy with. We have been the luckiest bunch around even we hit with nails at times ! There was some unhappiness, it will get pass and problems got settled. There were many memorable events celebrated and we have fun and laughter. CK has been a wonderful companion in many ways (yes, even though he has started commenting that I am becoming very naggy towards him...hhh). Jojo has always been our greatest source and joy in our lives. (as I writing this, Jojo has managed to "escape" to a corner because his daddy was trying to leash him for a walk!) My independent dad has become more family-oriented, at least, now we see him more frequently. Well, the credit could have been given to Jojo as he is my dad's favourite now. Mum is more or less the same.
Knowing who you love and care for is important so that more positive energy can be channel there. People who has made you unhappy out of jealousy or whatsoever reasons, should be ignored and forgiven. Life moves on and we move on with pride and anticipation. Friends and colleagues who have been totally nice and we have been most grateful to them.
Anyhow, to celebrate the last day (well, almost the last as 31st Dec fell on a non-working day), we had a little makan session in the office. Spirits were high and many staff were on leave to enjoy the long weekend. Those who were still in office got a bit of "consolation" by having some time to gather around for a drink and snacks.
It was a relatively short day in the office. After which I met up with CK, Jo and Shawn for a dinner at Rong Guang Eatery. Even though the rest of the gang could not joined in, somehow, the four of us did enjoyed our dinner. We even went to packet some durians on the way home !
A quiet night where we watched the Taiwanese Countdown programme together, just the two of us ... and a furry ball.
